#186 Its not too late to lose Weight before Xmas
You can still lose weight between now and Xmas
Start eating on purpose instead of just winging it.
Take a moment to think about the mindless eating that creeps in during the day.
Decide to give each meal a start and a finish.
Eat slowly.
Chew each mouthful well.
Enjoy the flavours and sensation of the food in your mouth.
Put your knife and fork down between mouthfuls.
Take your time.
Don’t put your next mouthful on the fork until you have swallowed the food in your mouth.
Try not to eat everything on your plate!
Ask yourself if you have had enough and stop at 80% full.
Stop picking and grazing between meals.
No eating standing up.
No eating in the car.
Only eat on purpose.
This isn’t easy because you are breaking long-term habits.
But just being aware of mindless eating gives you the power to come up with strategies to stop
