Berries
The healthiest fruit.
We all know that eating a plant-based diet protects us against chronic diseases, but according to Dr. Gregor's Nutrition facts, berries are the healthiest fruits.
Blueberries are one of the best anti-aging foods out there!
All berries are high in disease protecting antioxidants.
Berries contain 10 times more antioxidants than other fruits like say bananas.
When I can get them I buy spray-free organic berries and freeze them, but if I can't get them good old commercial berries will do.
I eat some form of berries every day, usually in a smoothie or with my rolled oats in the morning. They make great gelato style desserts too!
At the moment I have frozen blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries in my freezer.
Blackberries contain twice as many antioxidants per cup than strawberries or blueberries and are great in smoothies.
